Burnt ground seafood buys and processes seafood in seasoned lobster tails from august 1st-march 31st and from april 1st-july 31st is conch season. Conch is all year round but fishermen only focus on during that time of the year. The company was founded on an export industry demand for conch shells to be fabricated as gift jewelry and decorating components. The was able to satisfy the demands andsaturated the market only to find that diversification of the product lines were needed. The enterprise continued by processing the raw conch meat that was exracted from the shell into a professionally packed seafood product. Through it's proprietary brand, "long island tasty brand", quickly gained a reputation in both the Bahamas and export markets as producer of premium quality packed meat.
