About | It's always the same... Starting with modding old tube amps, discovering new ways of modifying - And just getting the idea of an own Amplifier. First you start with replica amplifiers - and often you stay there. Sometimes the only difference is that you are putting the replica in an own designed cabinet. What's the difference to Bulldog Amplification? Well - the beginning was similar to all, but after some years of developing the first own new Ampdesign was born - The Studiobreaker. Ok - the Idea of a PTP handwired one Channel Amp with the minimum of Components is not new. But new was the idea to develope a new schematic by starting from zero. The result was phaenomenous! The pure and direct Tone with an OWN character! Over the years the Studiobreaker advanced more and more... and new Amp models followed. - The Miniman and the Shark (discontinued) But there was one last challange - With the ambition to build the best sounding 2 channel Amplifiers without making compromises in tone it took 3 and a half years of developing the Jack 18 and the Jack 66. Bulldog Amplification produces a couple of very high End Guitar Amplifiers which are 100% Handmade and Handwired like the old German and US Amps in the 50s. This is the best and only way to create a 100% Tone and Dynamic. We are also developed products for other bigger companies, and bring the Products of them on a much higher level. |
