| About | After sixty years of effort, ATLANTIC CHINA WELDING CONSUMABLES, INC. has developed from CHINA WELDING ELECTRODE PLANT, which is the first welding consumable manufactory in China. Our company has become a public listed incorporation in Shanghai Stock Exchange as well as the leading one in the field in China. The famous trademark "ATLANTIC" was registered in 1950 and it is awarded the "Well-known Trademarks in China". The head office of ATLANTIC is located in Zigong, covering an area of 99,900 square meters. We have 6 sub-factories in China. The output of ATLANTIC was more than 320,000 metric tons in 2007 and it achieved 350,000 metric tons in 2008. The "ATLANTIC" welding consumables are over 400 types, which are divided into welding rods, welding wires and automatic welding fluxes three categories. Our products include mild steel rods, cellulose rods, high toughness steel rods, low alloy steel rods, hard facing rods, stainless steel rods, low temperature steel rods, Mo and Cr-Mo heat resistant steel rods, cast iron rods and Ni and Ni alloy rods; wires suitable for MAG, MIG, TIG, SAW and FCW welding; fluxes are classified into fused, sintered (agglomerated) and bonded types for submerged arc welding (SAW) and electroslag welding (ESW). A new production base of ATLANTIC has been constructed, covering a land area of 136,300 square meters. The output of ATLANTIC is more than 400,000 metric tons per year. The "ATLANTIC" welding consumables have excellent quality and have been enjoying great popularity among clients. They are widely used in power station boilers, pressure vessels, nuclear and space industries, bridges, ships, vehicles, petroleum and chemical industries, hydropower and thermal-power stations, metallurgical industries, skyscrapers, heavy machines and offshore drilling platforms. We have undertaken the following well known projects, such as Three Gorges Dam Project on Yangtze River and Xiaolangdi Key Water Control Project on Yellow River, Qinshan, Tianwan and Lingao (Daya Bay) Nuclear Power Stations, the 4,000km long West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipe Line, the main gymnasiums for Beijing Olympic Game 2008, The National Centre for the Performing Arts, the 3T Terminal Building of Beijing International Airport, the new mansion of CCTV, the jumbo oil tanks of the National Strategic Petroleum Reserves in China and the Hangzhou Bay Bridge (the longest marine span bridge in the world) The main products of "ATLANTIC" are approved by the China Classification Society (CCS), Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LR), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Bureau Veritas (BV), Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK), PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI), Technischer Uberwachungs-Verein (TUV) and Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) as well as Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). We got ISO9001 Quality Management System certification and The Inspection Department of ATLANTIC is the only one getting ISO17025 Laboratory Accreditation Certificate in the industry of China. |
