| About | We process and export Acai-Fruit (Euterpe Oleracea) to the growing number of clients. Acai (pronounce: assa-iii) is a tropical fruit which only grows in the lower Amazone basin. As Acai is extremely rich in antioxidants and Omega 3 it is believed by international nutritionists to reduce cholesterol level and slow down the aging process and reduce cancer-risk as it neutralizes free oxigene radicals in the human body. Acai also contains enzymes which stimulated muscle growth. In Brazil and North America, Acai has become very popular among surfers and other athletes because of it's high energetic value. Many recipes mix Acai with Guarana-Sirup, which is another amazing food item from the Amazone forest which has mind-stimulating effects like coffee, but without increasing the blood pressure. As the Acai-Fruit is highly perishable, it is processed immediately after the harvest and deepfrozen. It is avaialable in individual 100 g portions and in 1 kilo blocks for commercial use in restaurants and juice bars. On request we can also provide a mixture of acai fruit pulp with guarana sirup. |
