About | Dear Sir, Our olive oil is resting on tanks since last December. We always do that because as it is not chemical cleaned, the "flesh" of the olives is still inside. Low acidify 0.3 pour olives oil has a very strong smell and flavor alike to the leaves of the tree. By letting it "ripe" 4-5 months we can provide 75-85 % of the tank with clear olives oil that is not filtered, the "flesh" is subsided on the bottom naturally. The remains we keep for our selves using at home and for friends as it has the best taste. However it looks very "dirty" because all the olives oil fat acids (elaic acid) are highly concentrated and is not sold in the market. People do not know that this is the "cream" as they think that it is dirty. With the real "heavy" left over we make soap for it as we only use this even for the washing machine! This cleaning ripping procedure gives a smooth flavor while keeping the original taste and nutritional value. To be honest with you sir it is very hard ( perhaps impossible ) to find our quality because as it belongs to me no one is allowed to mix it, as per standard before unloading any tank I run labo tests. My family has a good and hard reputation and I am not easy to have any one play foul in my business. Therefore I can warranty you the purity of not even anything less than 100%, the highest quality from trees up in the mountains on rocky soil that gives this unique and perfect flavor. The correct price I do not know yet because I need to be there, check the market price, I need to estimate costs and find new packing station for 1 lt package as our system only has 5 lt tin can packing ability. And it is not the right time now to sell, the price is low due to the financial crisis. I expect that with in 3 weeks I can give the exact price. |
