| About | Having had 30 years experience in the timber manufacturing, grading and exporting industry, Reginald Alert opened his own firm under the name Alert International Timber Dealers in 1997. We are distributors and exporters of all the different species of Guyanese wood, including exotic hardwoods. Our main product is Guyanese Greenheart, which is a hardwood that is almost immune to decay and termites. It is excellent for use under exacting circumstances, very high in durability and resistant to attacks of marine borers. We export mainly to Caribbean countries but are now looking further afield for overseas buyers. With this in mind, samples of the different varieties of the wood we offer are available upon request by interested companies. Quality is our main concern and our customer satisfaction is highest on our list of priorities. Thus our customers know that they will get the best quality product every time.
