| About | Abu Dhabi Medical Devices Co. L. L. C. "MEDECO" was Established in 1999 as a joint venture company between Abu Dhabi Industrial Projects Co. "ADNIP"-U. A. E. and Pharmaplan GmbH-Germany. MEDECO started its commercial operations in the year 2000 and specialized in the manufacturing of high quality medical devices, and managed to secure a significant market share throught he introduction of a variety of standard single use syringes, IV Infusion sets and IV cannulae. As part of its contribution to injection safety, MEDECO commissioned in 2003 a new line dedicated to the production of Auto-Disabled Syringes and became the first manufacture of Auto-Disabled (AD) syinges in the Middle East and Africa. WHO approved MEDECO inject AD syringe 0. 5ml, under PQS no. E8 / 04, uses a unique technique for auto-disabled mechanism which gives it a clear advantage over other syringes. MEDECO product lines include: Auto-Disabled (AD) Syringes Single-use Syringes Insulin Syringes IV Cannula Infusion and Transfusion Sets MEDECO bases its market coverage and success as a health care supplieer on its research, engineering, design and production capabilites.
