About | 1984-1988 Angelika rinck discovers her general motif "the nature". She angages herself in topic such as flora and water. She paints landscapes using lead, pencil, crayon and charcoal. Her favourite technique becomes aquarell which she develops to perfection working on silk. She uses silk not as a medium off applied art but for free painting. 1989-1991 After beeing at the adriatic sea coast, her motifs change. She reduces the sujet and contrasts objects of architecture and of nature by polarizing them. Her colours and motifs reaching surrealistical elegance. She closes this cycle of silkpainting with various collages from silk. 1992-1993 After briefly retourning to aquarel on silk using flower, fruit and blossom motifs she now shows her typical style. Pictures of longing and southern reflectivness. Jaxonchalk and ink on paper, and cryon on canvas becoming her preferrend artistic devices. Her works radiate a cheerful silence triggering a need for meditation The mediterranean lifestyle inspires her additionaly. The relaxation, zest for living and menthal strenght she encountered there are pouring powerfully into her works. Consciously she reduces non essencial, and focusses herself on fundamentals. So, her painting reach this stark depressiveness. A reduced choice of clear pigment colours underlines impressivly her motifs. Angelika rinck, a passionate painter who early recognised her vocation and has been following it consequently for now allmost twentyfive years. Her inexhaustible creativity has found a second challenge in her job as a creative designer. Both genres ideally complement each other thus creating an entirely new scope of creativity. From 1994 on: After new informative trip, to the adriatic sea and Switzerland, she found inspiration in light, water and flair of the levante. She met in Switzerland painter and sculptor karl lukas honegger, and sculptor sylvia spycher. The water, first medium in her pictures is very dominate in her works. Her work "the wave" is a synonym for joy of life and power. It is, inbetween her trademark. She found her model in the American painter Georgia o'keeffe. The motto of American painter, she take for her own: "the width, shining blue will ever be, even after all destruction through the human being". |
