About Finca Casa Alarcon is a 2, 100 acres country estate located in Caudete, Albacete, Castilla la Mancha (Spain) . In Finca Casa Alarcon we carry out the traditional Manchego region farming activities: we grow vineyards, olive groves and cereal, we produce wine and olive oil and we breed Manchego sheep and pure-bred Spanish horses.

We put together the Spanish tradition and the latest trends in order to make genuine Mediterranean products using state-of-the-art technologies and high quality raw materials grown in our land under environment-friendly cropping systems.

Finca Casa Alarcon Wines

Our 90-hectares vineyars grow at the foot of so-called Sierra del Cuchillo (which literally translates as Knife Mountain) , on soils which are clay loam to sandy loam, stony in certain areas. Varieties include syrah, petit verdot, merlot, tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon and the white grapes chardonnay, viognier and sauvignon blanc.

The climate is typical from the Mancha plateau, dry and harsh, but influenced by the Mediterranean coast (only 70 km away) and the altitude (650 metres above sea level) . These physical and climatic features together with the vineyard and winemaking practices allow us to offer high quality, full-character Mediterranean wines.

Finca Casa Alarcon Olive oil

Finca Casa Alarcon has 190 hectares of olive groves where

different olive varieties grow: arbequina, hojiblanca, cornicabra and blanqueta. Our best olives are selected and blended to produce a high quality extra virgin olive oil.

Each variety is picked by mechanical means at their exact ripening moment and taken to the mill, where the best olives are selected, washed and cold-pressed. Our olive oil is made using only mechanical means. Ongoing decanting is applied for a natural cleaning of the olives.

The special blend of the varieties Arbequina, Hojiblanca and Cornicabra makes it ideal for salads and fresh pasta as well as for grillling fish, Mediterranean vegetables or desserts. . .
