| About | Amindo Packaging Industries Sdn. Bhd. , a Taiwanese owned manufacturing company, was founded and based in Penang mainland. It was incorporated on the 1st of June, 1997 under the leadership of company director Mr. Chen Mei Te. During the Company's infancy, the initial product line of edge board protector and paper core sales were mainly with packaging trading companies but these were replaced in the following years with direct links to major manufacturing companies. Amindo's strength in the Malaysian market was further increased by the establishment in 2000 of its sister company, AMD Packaging Sdn. Bhd. , based in Kuala Lumpur. The role of this new company was capture a greater share of the local Kuala Lumpur market and increase Amindo's distribution network. With Amindo and AMD working together to dominate West Malaysia, a plan was formulated for further expansion in 2003.
