The market of any product varies from one Client to another. Each Oil and Petrochemical Co. Has its own procurement and storage policy and philosophy. Until recently, all oil sector companies used to purchase their needs of industrial items through direct enquiries or tenders(public and or short-listed). M/s. Kuwait Oil Co. Has taken a different approach and focuses on: 1- Tendering Package System: The contractor is to provide both aspects of the project - The procurement and the construction. 2- Supply Contract: Offers for three year supply contract for some items. I. E. Valves, pipes,Pipe fittings, casing, packing materials, hoses, safety items, etc. With Periodical deliveries. 3- Enquiries and Tenders: KOC are still obtaining offers for items related to its direct Projects. Mode of Payment Al-Madar Trading has a very sound financial position. As such, payment terms whether they are demand draft, swift, sight draft and or L/C's can easily be met and promptly actioned. However, Al-Madar Trading prefers to work for payment facility of 60 to 90 days with all its principals and resources. |
